Go Pack Go!

8/5/15

Visited Sand Point Lighthouse before leaving Escanaba. Along the way to Green Bay, stopped by Forgotten Fire Winery - decent wines, newer winery (~4 years old). Drove past Green Bay and went out to another winery (von Stiehl - apparently WI's oldest) and brewery (Ahnapee). The brewery had some good beers - I particularly liked Chores, an unspiced Belgian Farmhouse Saison.

An old sewing machine. We had a similar one that my great aunt used while I was growing up.

8/6/15

Stuck around Green Bay today. Visited Lambeau Field for a tour around the stadium. The tour included the Atrium, a private suite, under the South end scoreboard, into another larger private suite, by the locker rooms (but not actually in them), through the players' tunnel, and on to the field (well, not actually on the field but on the sidelines). The Hall of Fame is being renovated, so I wasn't able to visit that. After the tour, also did some more beer and wine tasting:

**I've been using Airbnb some during this trip to find places to stay along the way. If you haven't tried it, check it out for your next trip (even internationally). Usually cheaper than a hotel...and if you have some extra space, rent it out and make some money! (https://www.airbnb.com/)**
