9/23/15
Took the car in to get some scheduled maintenance (important for a cross-country road-trip). While that was getting worked on, went in to Deschutes National Forest along the Cascade Lakes Highway. Checked out Devils Lake and Elk Lake.

Went out to Smith Rock to hike around. It has some steep places and I may have overused my knee a little since it was a little swollen and hurting in the evening. Put some ice on it a couple of times and put a compression wrap around it, so hopefully it'll feel better.

Hung around the Chill Ranch and rested. It's been a busy few days! Also, my knee probably needed the rest. Went to a show in the evening and saw two country bands: Chasin' Crazy and A Thousand Horses.

Continued on from Bend today. Went to Crater Lake then continued through Umpqua and Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests stopping by the Rogue River Gorge. Went to Wild River Brewing for dinner before turning in for the night.
